Privacy Policy
Last updated September 29, 2026
Between Here and There, LLC (“Between Here + There,” “we,” “us”) runs this website and the Between Here + There podcast. This policy explains what we collect when you visit betweenhereandthere.co, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
Your email address, if you give it to us. When you sign up to hear from us, we collect your email address and save it as a contact in our website platform.
How you use the site. Like most websites, ours uses cookies and similar technologies. They record things like the pages you view, the device and browser you use, your approximate location based on your IP address, and whether you signed up.
How we use it
- To send you the notes you signed up for about the podcast and what we’re building. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
- To keep the site running, secure and working properly.
- To understand how people find and use the site, so we can improve it.
- To show our ads to people who have visited the site, and to measure whether those ads work. This is often called retargeting.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
Our website is hosted by Wix, which sets cookies the site needs to work. We also use advertising and analytics tools from Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google (including YouTube). These tools may set cookies or use similar technology to recognize your browser, so we can reach you with Between Here + There ads on those platforms and see how our ads perform.
When these tools are active, information about your visit is shared with those companies and handled under their own privacy policies: Meta Privacy Policy, Google Privacy Policy and Wix Privacy Policy.
Your choices
- Emails: use the unsubscribe link in any email we send.
- Ads on Meta: manage them in your Facebook ad preferences.
- Ads on Google and YouTube: manage them in Google My Ad Center. You can also opt out of Google Analytics with the browser add-on.
- Interest-based ads in general: opt out through the Digital Advertising Alliance or the Network Advertising Initiative.
- Cookies: most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings.
Sharing
We don’t sell your email address or contact details. We share information only with the service providers that help us run the site, send email and advertise (like Wix, Meta and Google), or when the law requires it. Some state privacy laws treat the advertising described above as “sharing” personal information. You can opt out of it using the choices above, or by asking us.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, and to have it corrected or deleted. To make a request, contact us using the details below.
Children
This site isn’t directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version here and update the date at the top.
